There are some moments during travel that don’t come from major attractions or carefully planned itineraries.
Sometimes, they’re just small pauses in between.
I remember walking around Galataport and suddenly noticing the cherry blossoms blooming nearby — soft shades of pink against the deep blue sky, with the Nusretiye Mosque quietly standing in the background.
It felt strangely peaceful.

Maybe it was the contrast of it all.
The softness of the flowers against the old architecture.
The movement of people around us, while everything else somehow still felt calm.
For a moment, I forgot we were in the middle of a busy city.
We just stood there for a while, taking photos slowly, letting the sea breeze and spring air linger around us.
It wasn’t something we planned for.
Not a “must-see”.
Not even a major part of the day.
But somehow, it became one of the moments I remember most clearly.
Maybe because travel isn’t always about the big highlights.
Sometimes, it’s simply about noticing something beautiful at the right time.
