Ashes in the Light

Words left behind in half-light

A Touch of Bloom – Wedding Dinner Setup 🌸

I recently worked on a wedding dinner setup at Dusit Thani, and it turned out to be such a fulfilling experience. This time, we were only in charge of the setup and not the full wedding planning, which gave us the chance to focus purely on the details. I got the opportunity to work on the floral arrangements for the photo gallery, decorating the gold frame display.

There’s always something special about wedding setups—the quiet rush before guests arrive, the soft lighting, and the gentle hum of last-minute adjustments. For this one, we wanted to keep the overall look elegant and timeless, letting the flowers bring a touch of natural softness to the space.

Working on the photo gallery florals was such a nice experience. It’s one of those small details that guests always stop to admire—a corner filled with memories, framed by blooms. Seeing my own work up there, blending with the couple’s photos and stories, gave me such a lovely sense of pride. It’s a quiet reminder that even the smallest setups can hold so much meaning.

As the evening began and everything came together—the lights, the florals, the tables—I took a moment to step back and just take it all in. It’s always rewarding to see how each element fits into the bigger picture of someone’s big day.

It may have been just another event on the calendar, but to me, it was another memory made—another beautiful space brought to life with flowers and love.

Every wedding reminds me why I love doing what I do. 🌸
