There’s something comforting about having travel plans to look forward to—it gives the heart something to quietly get excited about.
Coming up soon is a short trip to Hong Kong! I think the last time I visited was around 2012, so it’s been more than a decade since I last experienced the city. I’m really looking forward to soaking in the energy again—the skyline, the neon lights, the hustle of the streets, and most importantly… the food.
I already have cravings lined up: dim sum mornings, egg tarts from little corner bakeries, and milk tea at old-school cha chaan tengs. We haven’t locked in a full itinerary, but I know it’ll be one of those easygoing trips—walk, eat, explore, repeat.

And then… there’s our honeymoon next year—something we’ve been quietly dreaming about. We’ve decided on Georgia (yes, the country!) for something a little different, a little magical.
Think: charming Tbilisi streets, snowcapped mountains in Gudauri, rolling vineyards in Kakheti, hearty food, and warm hospitality. Everything about it feels like the kind of place that encourages you to slow down and just enjoy being somewhere new.
It’s not the typical honeymoon destination, and maybe that’s why it feels perfect for us. A place to explore together for the first time—just the two of us, somewhere beautiful and unfamiliar.
So for now, I’m counting down the days to Hong Kong, while quietly dreaming of Georgia.
Sometimes, planning the journey is already half the joy.
